Singer Cassie is married now! Her surprise nuptials to celeb trainer Alex Fine were revealed when Director Peter Berg shared an image of the couple on Instagram. He officiated the beachy Malibu wedding over the weekend.
“By the power vested in me…. @alexfine44 n @cassie â¤ï¸ðŸ’¥â¤ï¸ Long may you ride!,” he captioned the photo.
It’s been a whirlwind romance for the 33-year-old, who announced she was expecting her first child with Alex back in June. An engagement video followed, with country western themed photos.
“This moment will always be so special to me. I get to marry my best friend in the whole world. How am I so lucky! #mrsfine,” the groom-to-be said of his proposal.
The pair have been sharing sweet moments from their relationship this last year, after Cassie high-profile split with music mogul Diddy in fall of 2018. Mrs. Fine sent shockwaves through the internet, when she posted these first flicks of Alex on the ‘Gram in December of the same year.
With her new hubby and a baby on the way, it appears that Cassie is finally living the life she wanted. In a recent interview with L’Officiel, Cassie said of her daughter and expanding career, “My priorities have absolutely changed, not just for creating an amazing future and life for my daughter, but because I want her to be proud of me,” Cassie explained. “I’ve heard people say that they’re nervous to raise females in today’s world, but I’m excited! I can’t wait to see her grow, learn and challenge the world right back!”
