Entrepreneur Latoya Nicole has created another self-care tool for black women. After releasing her ” 24 Shades Of Business” and “Alma Mater” coloring books, she’s now launching a coloring app called Color XO.

Color XO is a pixel art coloring app that is “full of melanin skin tones and plenty of black girl magic” and offers relaxation at your finger tips.

Nicole said she focuses on coloring because it’s one of the top activites that can relieve stress.

“Black girls rock at everything we do from creating art to being moms and we can be so self-sufficient and self-sacrificing that sometimes we can forget the importance of self-care,” she said in a statement. “I hear black women talk about workplace stress so often and coloring is an activity that allows us to switch our brains off from other thoughts and focus and concentrate only on the moment which can help decrease stress.”

Nicole said after doing research she saw that it was time to make her coloring books digital.

“As I did more research I noticed that African-Americans use smartphones more than any other group. That is why it was important for me to create options so I decided to create this color-by-numbers app for a little fun and relaxation.”

Color XO is available in the Apple App Store as well as Google Play.
