You get an award for visiting three times a year
While my sister is expected at weekly dinners, I receive an award for visiting three times a week. I’m thanked for taking time out of my life to travel to their town to see them. This, again, I’m sure makes my sister a little bit peeved. She gets no trophy for being at family dinners. She just gets berated if she doesn’t go.
