During her sit down with Steve Harvey, Mo’Nique struggled to get a word in edgewise. Harvey talked over her constantly in an attempt to educate her about the ways in which she should be going about her fight for equality in Hollywood. We can argue about the merits of Harvey saying that the way Mo’Nique went about her critique of the system could use improvement.
But there was a moment, when Harvey suggested that integrity has to take a backseat when there’s money to be made—to avoid being poor. His take garnered more than a bit of criticism from the internet.
And it seems that Mo’Nique found some of the conversations to be poignant. So much so that she shared some of them on her Instagram page.
