(Washington Business Journal) –Three Prince George’s County police officers were among nine people arrested Monday in a widening corruption and bribery investigation that led to the arrest of County Executive Jack Johnson and his wife, Leslie, on Friday.  Investigators say the latest arrests are part of a larger probe of corruption in the county, calling them “related,” though it is not clear how the cases are related to Johnson’s arrest. The latest arrests involved allegations of distributing untaxed alcohol and cigarettes, as well as drug and gun trafficking.
