Everyone thinks they’re right
Just so you know, each of you feels like you are 100 percent correct. When your mom tries to instruct you on how to live your life, she feels totally justified in doing so—she’s your mother. When you tell her to back off because you’re an adult, you feel totally justified in saying so because, well, being told what to do sucks.
