Wachovia Branches in Georgia to Get Name Change

(Atlanta Journal Constitution) — Signs and systems at nearly 280 Wachovia bank stores across Georgia will change to Wells Fargo in October as the banks merge.The company also has hired more than 300 tellers and bankers across Georgia amid the shift. Wachovia merged with Wells Fargo in December 2008.
