As a father of six children already (including adopted son Quincy), one might think that Diddy is done having kids. In a new interview with The Breakfast Club though, Diddy said that while he isn’t looking to be a grandfather anytime soon (his sons are all grown up now), he’s open to playing daddy a few more times.

“Without a doubt, I love children,” the 48-year-old said. “I could go to eight without a problem. Can’t stop, won’t stop. Whatever is supposed to happen in the future is going to happen, but that’s something that I want.”

For the record though, Diddy confirmed that at this point, he only wants kids with longtime girlfriend Cassie, 31.

“I would only have it with my girl, of course.”

But what about marriage? A few years ago, he was at The Breakfast Club saying that he couldn’t do marriage, but would be open to a 75/25 relationship. What that meant was 25 percent of the time there would be drama, possible infidelity and stress, but 75 percent of the time, he said he would make his partner the happiest woman in the world. Looking back, and thinking about what he has now, Diddy admits it wasn’t the smartest way to look at a relationship.

“I got your responses. It’s noted,” he said of the confusion his commentary created. “I tried it, the 70/30. I’m on the 90/10. That was a bad day, something that shouldn’t have come out of my mouth.”

He still, however, isn’t necessarily interested in marriage. But Diddy did say that he was once engaged for four hours after a former girlfriend popped the question. However, the next day he realized that he shouldn’t have said yes.

“I acted like it didn’t happen,” he said. “I was definitely in the spirit. But the next day I treated it like, ‘We had a great night last night!’ She brought it back up, but I said maybe we should just wait a little while. I can’t tell y’all which girlfriend but it definitely happened. I’m talking about in the past. This didn’t happen right now, you just assumed it was Cassie. I was just telling a story about a wild night that happened.”

“She definitely had a ring and put it on me but it was one of her rings that I complimented her on,” he said. “We were in a relationship, this wasn’t coming out of nowhere. It was all in the spirit of fun. It wasn’t a real, serious thing. It was just something that was interesting that I did say yes and did get proposed to.”

As for the women in his life currently, including Cassie and the mothers of his children (Misa Hylton, Kimberly Porter and Sarah Chapman), Diddy said he’s managed to create a positive environment for everyone where they can all get along and there are no misunderstandings. All it took was a kumbaya meeting.

“You have to take care of everybody,” he said. “If everybody is happy and you’re taking care of them and you’re respecting them, then you can have a meeting how like I had. A ‘Can we all just get along?’ meeting because it would be better for all of us.”

“That probably just happened this year with everyone, the whole squad,” Diddy added. “You have to start to treat your family like a tribe if you have other mothers of your children. The separatism starts to wear on the family as a whole. We all in it together. So, we might as well figure out how to co-exist, and they get along lovely. Laughing and talking and partying and dancing and chilling and shopping. Everything is good because they’re good people too. And Cassie’s a great woman. It wasn’t anyone versus anybody. It was just about honesty and making sure everybody’s clear. There were no problems because everybody’s very respectful as women. Just as themselves, they’re not really into fighting or beefing.”

Check out the chat for yourself. Even though it’s nearly an hour, the entire interview is entertaining. But if you’re short on time, you can get to the personal matters all within the first 10 minutes.
