Erykah Badu can get away with just about any look, and we should all know since we’ve seen her rock a variety of them over the years. Locs, a massive fro, floor-length braids, big hair, no hair, green hair, blond hair — she’s done it all and done it well when it comes to hair. That includes armpit hair.

The 46-year-old singer and style icon shared a picture of herself this week with her arm up and her armpit hair in full fluff mode. And for those who were wondering, she also filled in her followers that #thecarpetmatchesthedrapes. Who said No Shave November couldn’t turn into Ditch Razors December?

But this isn’t the first time Badu has let it all hang and grow out. And in fact, she’s not alone in her appreciation of a little bit of underarm hair, because truth be told, consistently shaving is a pain in the bottom. From Badu to Lisa Bonet and Halsey (don’t forget, her father is a Black man) and Willow Smith, plenty of Black women are embracing a natural look — and not just on their heads.
