A crying woman can be a very scary thing for a man. But when a man is in love with you, when you cry, he actually feels closer to you (unless he made you cry—that’s another matter). If you’re willing to cry in front of your partner who loves you about stress in your life, he won’t respond with fear but rather with empathy and a desire to help.
