According to the New York Post, Tyson and the orange toupee wonder have a long history together. It’s a history that dates all the way back to the time when Trump had unsuccessfully conspired with Tyson’s then wife Robin Givens, her mother and Don King to rope the troubled boxer into an extended contract to buck fight at Trump’s casinos behind his back.

Well, it appears that all has been forgiven and forgotten as Tyson has gone on record plenty of times to throw his support behind Trump 2016.

As he told the Daily Beast earlier this year:

“Yeah! Hell, yeah,” he exclaims of Trump 2016. “That sh-t is the real deal. Listen: I’m a black motherf–ker from the poorest town in the country. I’ve been through a lot in life. And I know him. When I see him, he shakes my hand and respects my family. None of them—Barack, whoever—nobody else does that. They’re gonna be who they are and disregard me, my family. So I’m voting for him. If I can get 20,000 people or more to vote for him, I’m gonna do it.”

And as he told the New York Post late last week:

“I think it’s a pretty awesome thing that he’s doing so well,” Tyson said. “People are combining together to make sure he doesn’t win. He’s probably telling himself, ‘They hate me more than they hate [President Barack] Obama.’ You know it’s crazy when people who fought so hard to get rid of Obama would now rather keep him because they hate Trump more than they hate him.”

See, this is what happens when you take too many hits to the head.
