Did You Know These Celebrity Couples Moved In Together?

When is the right time to swap keys with your partner? Some of these celebrity couples moved in together as soon as right after the first date, as late as nearly a decade after they started dating, and in some cases–after they divorced.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Moving in together after a split? It’s what Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are doing. Despite their marriage being over, they’ve decided to explore another kind of co-habitation: renting a house together (Brooke Shields’s Los Angeles pad). The former couple is doing this to have somewhere to stay because their other home is under renovation. In their new rented space, they plan to keep their rings on and keep the peace so that their children don’t have their lives altered by the split.

And they’re not the only ones doing this.

Josh Lucas and Jennifer Ciencin Henriquez

Believe it or not, Mysteries of Laura star Josh Lucas and his ex-wife have just moved back in together despite their split a year ago.

And they say it’s not about rekindling the romance either. They’re in it to give their 3-year-old son Noah a sense of stability even though they’re no longer together.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham

After five years and counting, it seemed like these two just weren’t the moving in kind. But some celebrity couples just take a little longer than other to take the next step.

And what a step! Their new $13 million mansion (they split the cost) boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a waterfall in the swimming pool. We would’ve loved an invite to that housewarming party.

Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj

TMZ reports that Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are finally taking the plunge — by moving into a 9-bedroom home in the Hollywood Hills.

We were thinking that we’d hear engagement rumors before talks of moving in, but the timing certainly seems right. Minaj has been between homes since the lease on her old L.A. pad with her ex Safaree Samuels ended in January.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez

In a new twist on old news, Justin Bieber recently revealed to Complex that he and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez moved in together when he was just 18. We had no idea that the former teen stars were actually sharing a house at the height of their romance.

But it doesn’t sound like he would recommend making a move like that quite so early on:

“It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered.

My identity was in her. Her identity was in me. When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin’ mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other.”

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco recently revealed that she and estranged husband Ryan Sweeting may have held the record for the quickest cohabitation.

While chatting with David Letterman, The Big Bang Theory star confessed that Sweeting moved in with her the night after they met on their first blind date.

Kaley Cuoco went on to say:

“Dinner was great, and then he moved in the next day. I know, it sounds so slutty, but it wasn’t! It all did move quite fast on paper. But we really did know… And I know you’re all thinking, ‘She’s nuts!’ I swear I’m not nuts. We just fell in love.”

That must have been one heck of a meal! But maybe it was too good. These two recently announced their split after nearly two years of marriage.

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift

Is less than a year long enough for a couple to wait to move in together? Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift plan to put that question to the test when they follow up on their plans to move in together — right after Swift finishes her ‘1989’ world tour.

Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale

These two, who have been together for three years, recently revealed that they’ve been living together — in a $2.2 million Brooklyn love nest — since earlier this year. And Byrne’s change of address came just in time for her recent pregnancy news.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed

This celebrity couple surprised everyone by moving at lightning speed. Just two weeks after news broke that they were together, they bought a house! A week after that they moved in together. And they just got married in April.

But now that divorce rumors are swirling just months into their marriage, Ni-Ian fans are wondering if maybe things moved a little too fast.

Iggy Azalea and Nick Young

Anyone else have a feeling that wedding bells for these two are right around the corner? Iggy Azalea and Nick Young got together in September 2013, moved in together a year later, and got engaged less than a year after that.

If things keep going at this pace, we’re expecting a (hopefully not secret) wedding announcement any day now.

Lea Michele and Matthew Paetz

We knew they were getting serious, but this celebrity couple let out zero peeps about their intentions to move in together. But from the looks of their Instagram pages, they’ve already taken the plunge.

We wouldn’t be surprised if there was an engagement ring selfie in their near future.
