It is no secret that R&B singer Ciara loves being a mother. She has adorable pics of her and her son Future all over her social media pages, plus has talked about her great relationship and bond with her son in tons of interviews. She was engaged to rapper Future in 2013 and the following year Ciara gave birth to their son Future Zahir Wilburn. The two have since canceled their engagement and are now co-parenting.

Hiring a babysitter or finding the right daycare can be one of the most daunting tasks as a mother because your childs safety is the most important thing in your life but Ciara has all of that taken care of. She already has an amazing relationship with her dad so why wouldn’t he help her take care of little Future.

During a recent appearance on “Live with Kelly & Michael,” the singer revealed that her father Carlton Harris was her nanny.

“My Dad is my nanny and he takes the job very seriously,” the single mom told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. “It’s the cutest thing, he forgets about me, he’s like ok, I’m about my grandson. I gotta run and do what I gotta do. It’s so cute.”

She also praised her dad on Instagram saying:

“I Have The Best Dad In The World!! He Has Always Went Above And Beyond To Be There For Me. I Am Truly Thankful For Him. Can You Believe He Just Turned 53? Wow!!….#ScorpiosRock #HappyBirthdayDaddy!! #Dubai Here We Come!! #VogueFashionDubai #DadGotSwag.”

She talked to Us Weekly about motherhood: “I’m in an even more expressive place,” she said. “I think that when you become a mom… you don’t really worry about the small stuff. I’m just way more centered. It makes you focus even more on what your goals are in life. And I just feel a whole new spiritual energy that’s happening.”

“It’s a great thing,” she said of motherhood. “I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and I’m very, very happy.”

We love that Ciara hires her dad to be her nanny, what do you think?
