Any dog would be lucky to land in the home of a celebrity for the financial comforts alone. But these stars provide so much more than resources: they provide endless love! Here are celebrities who treat their pets like family.

John Legend

Legend feels so fatherly towards his dogs that he threw them a wedding. The father of the bride (and groom) didn’t hold back. According to E! Online, Legend bought the dogs a cake and decorated tables with rose petals.

Oprah

Hollywood Life posted some photos of Oprah arriving at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles with her dog…and the dog’s seven assistants. The assistants could be Oprah’s, but they all attended to the dog instead of the star.

Usher

Usher pursued his golden doodle puppy more persistently than some parents work to adopt a child. The star spent $12,000 on his doggy, but it was all donated to charity. Usher outbid actress Jessica Szohr for the puppy, according to the Daily Mail.

 Serena Williams

Pet360.com reported that Williams calls her little Yorkshire Terrier Chip her “son” and that the doggy wears little ties when he attends his mom’s matches.

Blake Lively

Instead of leaving her dogs with a sitter (something she could easily afford), the star would keep her pups with her on the set of Gossip Girl, holding them between takes.

Howard Stern

Howard and Beth Stern lost their beloved bulldog Bianca, but she lived a very good life, attending most events with the couple, donning wonderful sweaters and even jewelry and appearing in just about any photo shoot the couple agreed to. According to Us Magazine, Howard even has Bianca’s name tattooed on his arm.

Mariah Carey

It’s bath time with baby! When Carey was still with Nick Cannon, she posted photos of herself preparing a special Valentine’s Day bath, which according to the Daily Mail, she let her pooch Jill E Beans hop into.

Wiz Khalifa

The Inquisitr questioned whether the rap star’s dog or his estranged wife, Amber Rose, was the real object of his affection. That’s a valid question considering how many photos the star posts of his pup, Trap King, on Twitter.

Zoe Saldana

According to the Daily Mail, you can catch Zoe Saldana taking her rescued dog with her everywhere, even to the nail salon.

 Shemar Moore

Moore brings his bulldog Shug to work and has even let him appear on an episode of Criminal Minds.

Leona Helmsley

The late hotel magnate’s dog was left $12 million in Helmsley’s will. That was subsequently reduced to $2 million. But either way, it’s $2 million more than we’ll ever see.

Sherri Shepherd

When Shepherd adopted her black Labrador, Ashley, she wanted to ask Barbara Walters if she could bring the dog on the set of The View. According to PEOPLE, the star says, “My dog, she’s on me like white on rice – she’s like my shadow. Wherever I go, Ashley is right there.”

Tamar Braxton

Braxton’s dog Miracle has his own Twitter account and he refers to Braxton as “mommy” on it.

Ciara

Ciara is never far from her two small dogs. She’s often spotted shopping or hanging out at home with them.

Kevin Hart

The comedian posted a hilarious video on Instagram. In it, he complained that his dogs had taken over his house, showing his bed covered in pooches!
