Diva behavior isn’t just for the ladies. These celebrity men have been busted channeling their inner Diana Ross on more than one occasion.

Kanye West

We all know how highly Kanye West views himself. When he’s performing, the “All Day” rapper only wipes his face with the finest of linens: imported and recut Versace towels, which cost around $400 a set. His divo behavior was even on full display while on his honeymoon at an Irish castle. West reportedly asked the Castle Oliver to buy expensive new sheets, towels, DVDs, and champagne before he and Kim arrived. Unfortunately, they left right after they arrived because of poor cell phone reception.

Christian Bale

Christian Bale considers himself a method actor and he brings the same intensity to every role and every set. But things on the set of Terminator: Salvation became a little too intense when Bale launched an expletive-filled tirade at the director of photography after he accidentally interrupted a scene. To make matters worse, the tirade was recorded and the audio leaked online. Bale called him a slew of names and physically threatened him, even though the man profusely apologized. Bale also threatened to trash the movie set. After the leaked audio went viral, the Hollywood A-lister publicly apologized.

Tom Cruise

During a trip to Montenegro, the Mission Impossible star felt like eating dinner solo. He demanded that the manager of a five-star restaurant at the Forza Mare clear out all guests so he could have a bite to eat, undisturbed. The manager balked at his request and Cruise was forced to eat alone in his yacht that was docked nearby.

50 Cent

The rapper and actor threw former BFF Floyd Mayweather under the bus when the two had a falling out over a failed business venture. The “In Da Club” rapper embarrassed the champ on social media and even accused him of being illiterate. Also, during his short-lived beef with Rick Ross, 50 Cent enlisted the help of Ross’ jilted baby mama to try and publicly embarrass him.

Jay Z

The “Tom Ford” rapper demands to travel in luxury. Jay Z’s tour rider includes a Maybach with tinted windows, $300 champagne and high quality peanut butter and jelly. And he can really hold a grudge. And when it comes to holding grudges, because of their longstanding feud, Hov reportedly had all Dipset music barred from being played at his 40/40 nightclub.

Justin Timberlake

Some people don’t like to share confined spaces with strangers, even if it’s in a public place. Justin Timberlake is one of those people. In 2011, while at the premiere of his film Friends with Benefits, the former boy band member had a few people kicked out of the elevator so he could ride in peace. Timberlake is also said to be a germaphobe, so when he stays at hotels he requests to have the air conditioning filters changed and insists that someone go around every two hours to disinfect doorknobs.

Russell Crowe

It was rumored that Russell Crowe’s divo behavior was on full display during the filming of Robin Hood. His alleged issues with award-winning director Ridley Scott got so bad that movie execs had to fly out on location in London to mediate the situation. Crowe also allegedly insisted on having a private helicopter take him back and forth from the set each day.

Prince

Prince may be small in stature, but he’s a titan in the music industry and normally gets whatever he demands. It’s not unusual for an artist or musician to request to have the furniture and decorations in their dressing room changed. However, few artists have asked for a five-bedroom home to be built within the grounds of London’s O2 Arena. The “Purple Rain” singer reportedly requested that a house be constructed just for him so he could be close enough to virtually eliminate his commute when he performs there.

Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell was so obsessed with how he came across on Britain’s Got Talent that he demanded special lighting to be installed under his desk to give him a healthy glow. “It’s hilarious,” a source from the set revealed. “The lights are only on his part of the desk – it’s an obvious attempt to get one up on the other judges. No matter where he turns there is more light on him than the others, which makes him look better on camera.”

Will Smith

Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv, accused the actor and rapper of being a total divo on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She claimed that he insisted on producers getting rid of anyone who tried to upstage him. Several years ago when there was talk of a reunion after the rest of the former cast was spotted hanging out, Hubert made it known that wants nothing to do with it. “This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word,” she said. She has since softened on her stance but is still looking for an apology from her former television nephew.

Axl Rose

Axl Rose became a rock star as the frontman for the band Guns N’ Roses. They rose to stardom in the ’80s, but as the years wore on, Rose and his controlling and divo ways eventually drove guitarist Slash away. Their drama ruined the band and there’s still bad blood between the two. When the original members of Guns N’ Roses were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Rose refused to be on stage with his old bandmates. Rose also bans his fans from wearing any type of Slash merchandise during his concerts.

Mike Myers

Mike Myers has made millions and millions of moviegoers laugh, but it turns out that the SNL alumnus isn’t much fun on movie sets. Over the years, Myers has earned a reputation for being moody, arrogant, controlling and an all around killjoy. His Wayne’s World co-star, Dana Carvey, refused to work with Myers because of his attitude for quite some time. Thankfully, the two set aside their issues.
