He hates that because you have to keep them–the boys–you have to keep them professional. They can’t help if they get aroused. Every time we were laying there, he was talking to his male member, ‘No don’t do that. Taraji’s going to punch me.’ So I said, ‘You know I will sock you right in the throat.’ And then he goes ‘Ok, I’m going to keep my pants on.’ So I said, ‘Let me help you.’ So I would say, ‘Daddy, why are you on top of me? Where is mommy? Why is the door closed?’ He would be like ‘Oh, no!’ But it kept him honest. It worked! I did the baby voice like ‘Daddy, why are you on top of me I’m scared. Why are you touching me daddy?’ And he was like ‘Oh, that’s twisted!’ But guess what? We got through the scene real quick.

But see Terrence and I we know each other and he’ll get too loose and it might grow. But Derek Luke and I, we’ve never worked together again so that scene was very professional because we’re nervous.

On Feeling Tyrese during the filming of Baby Boy 

Angie Martinez: Did you have to do the baby voice (during their sex scenes)?

No I didn’t. I was new to the game so I didn’t have that yet. At that time I was kinda liking Tyrese. So I was like ‘Can y’all just leave out for a second?’

AM: Were you feeling him?

Lil bit, lil bit. Because you know I’m 9 years older than him so when we did that film, he wasn’t even legal yet. I didn’t even want to because I was so new to the game. I was smart enough to know that that would destroy what we were trying to accomplish on that set.

AM: Was he feeling you too?

Yes.

AM: How do you not act on that?

He had a girlfriend…or two or three.
