From A Hot Mess To Hotness: 10 Of The Best Celebrity Style Transformations Over The Years

When we first met these stars, they were living and looking a whole different way. All these years later, they’re killing the game with their style, and impressing us with the changes they’ve made to their lifestyle. Whether it was because of love, family, sobriety or whatever, these stars have a new look and a new glow. Winning!

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

When we were first introduced to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, she was the consistently drunk, tan-obsessed, hair-hump wearing resident of “The Jersey Shore.” All these years later, she has eased up big time on the spray tans, stopped her partying ways, fell in love, had two kids and walked down the aisle. Snooki grew up big time, and her style did as well!

Ci Ci was just trying to guard her “Goodies” when she first blew up in a crowded R&B scene around 2002, and when she arrived, she brought along a tomboy image. Now, in 2015, Ciara is slaying our lives and showing off her long and lean limbs in couture gowns (she’s one of Riccardo Tisci’s muses). She’s consistently dressed to the nines and wins for having the sweetest personality (and an adorable baby boy).

Nicole Richie

Once Paris Hilton’s sidekick (and we all know they stayed in some unseemly shenanigans), Nicole Richie is now a married woman and mother of two who is often cited as being a fashion icon. When she decided to leave Paris Hilton behind (and the drugs), it’s like her whole life did a 180 for the better.

Nicki Minaj

I don’t think I need to explain to anyone how major it was for Nicki Minaj to drop the colors and costumes that were eyesores, for a more natural head of hair and more chic but laid back looks. She looks the best that she ever has and we’re hopeful that she won’t ever go back.

Dawn Richard

Look, we’re not here for all the plastic surgery (especially if she’s not going to be straightforward and say she did it), but whoever is styling Dawn and doing her makeup deserves some sort of award–or at least a raise. She looks so good!

After winning “American Idol,” we got to know and love Fantasia, and I think we can all admit that she started off a little rough around the edges (these days she keeps her heels on when she performs). But nowadays, she’s just radiant! A supportive family and a new huuuuuuusband (who gives you a fat ring) definitely helps you emit such a glow.

June Ambrose

June Ambrose is one of the biggest stylists out there for the stars, but years ago when she was styling for music videos and films, you probably wouldn’t have known that she was going to be the sartorially-gifted sistah she is now. These days, not a day goes by (if you follow her Instagram) where we don’t wish we had something from her fabulous closet.

The gal they called the pitbull in a dress has definitely come a long way from the short blond hair and exposed paw print tattoos. All these years later she’s married and seems to be happier than ever. And she looks stunning every time you see her!

Khloe Kardashian

The youngest Kardashian sister, well, make that all the Kardashians, didn’t start off so chic. And Khloe was often treated like the ugly duckling by the public (even if she was the most liked Kardashian sister). But can you say va va voom now? Khloe dropped a few pounds, tried a new hair color, kept her makeup on fleek and stepped up her style to the point where we often find ourselves saying, “Okay, Khloe!”

Early on, Solange Knowles was stuck in the shadow of her sister, known as the sibling who loved Rastafari colors and microbraids. But the moment she did the big chop, Solange stepped into her own to make some of her best music and wear some of the best ensembles we’ve seen on a sistah in a long time. And the mom and new Mrs. Ferguson continues to impress us with her carefree/take no sh*t attitude and down-to-earth personality.
