There’s something about wearing your man’s T-shirt that makes women feel good — so good Beyonce and them even wrote a song about it. Sometimes we’ll throw on the boo’s button down and prance around the kitchen in it because he thinks it’s sexy. Or we’ll borrow a T-shirt and basketball shorts to sleep in when we stay the night unexpectedly. We might even wear that shirt for a quick breakfast run the next morning. But what if the rolls were reversed and bae needed to borrow your clothes to wear — in public — would you let him?

I ask because newlywed Evan Ross just admitted to E! News that he and his wife Ashlee Simpson wear each other’s clothes and they do so pretty regularly. Evan spilled the beans on an androgynous clothing line the pair is working on and in the midst of the details he confessed, “The truth is—I know it sounds crazy—but we wear a lot of the same clothes.

“She wears a lot of my pants and certain things and we switch up outfits a lot so…Well, usually the jackets are the ones that I’m like, ‘No that’s mine,’ but we always wear all each other’s stuff. I wear her stuff too, so sometimes she’s in my full outfit that I wore the day before and I’m in her full outfit so it works out really nice.”

I imagine before you can even answer whether you’d let your man wear your clothes, you probably have to think about whether he actually could. A lanky 6’1,” it’s not a shocker Evan can fit Ashlee’s clothes and it’s genius these two plan to capitalize on their wardrobe swapping for a new clothing line. I’m just curious about a couple of things: 1) how many heterosexual men are trying to wear the same clothes as their girl? and 2) how many women want their men wearing the same clothes as them? (I actually have a third question about these two wearing each other’s clothes the day after the other person wore them but that’s another discussion altogether.) All I’m saying is when it comes to the hypothetical boo which I don’t yet have I feel like this about him borrowing my clothes: A T-shirt, sure you can have it. My sweat pants? Only if you have to. Start asking about my dresses and we’re gonna have to have a talk!

What do you think about Ashlee and Evan’s new clothing venture? Would you mind you and your man rocking the same clothes?
