Could you imagine seeing your spouse in love with another woman or simulating sex with someone other than you on the big screen? Though we might live for those juicy scenes staring our favorite actors, it’s not always so easy for those celebrities’ wives to watch them in intimate action.
Nate Parker talked to us about that at the screening of “Beyond The Lights” in NYC. In the flick, Nate and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who plays the lead character Noni, have incredible chemistry and a few steamy scenes that prompted Nate to get his wife a private showing of the film before it hits theaters next Friday, November 14 — just in case she was uncomfortable. When we asked about her reaction to the movie, Nate revealed that his wife told him she actually cried while watching the love story.
“She said ‘to see you in love with someone else and to believe it is something I haven’t had to experience yet’ and it was shocking,” he said adding that his wife also told him “I just was happy to know that I get that guy every day.”
