Believe it or not focusing too much on one thing can make you scatterbrained. Have you ever worked on a project or task  for so long that you got lost in what you are doing? A common effect is spending hours on the same thing without a new result.

Fix it: Give yourself a break! You need a fresh set of eyes and refreshed mind in order to be successful. If not you will just work yourself into the hole without end.
