Some women take issue with the Biblical mandate of wives submitting to their husbands (which is actually supposed to be a two-way street) but not these celebrity wives who believe in submission and have proudly talked about how it makes their marriage work.
Heavenly Kines
Married To Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly Kimes made headlines recently when she stated, ““I submit to my husband. I make my husband’s food. I take care of the household. I understand my role as a wife and a mother.”
Candace Cameron Burke
In an excerpt from her book, Burke stated “”I am not a passive person, but I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our relationship because I wanted to do everything in my power to make my marriage and family work…It is very difficult to have two heads of authority. It doesn’t work in military, it doesn’t work — I mean, you have one president, you know what I’m saying?”

In a People magazine interview Salt stated since she left Salt-N-Pepa in 2001, she had been mainly a stay-at-home wife who was learning how to be “be a better wife, a better mother, a better person and laying a foundation for my children.” She also told a young group of girls at a convention that her husband was the head of her household.
Michele Bachmann
The former republican once told a crowd full of woman, “Wives, you are to be submissive to your husbands.” End of story.

Michelle Duggar
The 19 & Counting star believes that “being totally submissive” is a way to keep your man.
Melissa Gorga
Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Melissa Gorga caught a lot of flack when she wrote about submission in her book, Love, Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage. She attempted to clarify her statements in People, when she said: “Husbands want their wives to submit; wives want our husbands to dominate,” the “On Display” singer explained of sex with Joe: “Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey can attest that there’s a difference between racy and ‘rapey.’ When Joe and I talk about dominance and submission, it’s racy. It’s about a man being a man, a woman being a woman, a man taking charge and a woman letting it happen — consensually! There are times I play hard to get, and Joe knows those signals. But when I am not in the mood, Joe doesn’t force me to do ANYTHING.”
Adelia Elmer
Pat Robertson once said: “I know this is painful for the ladies to hear, but if you get married, you have accepted the headship of a man, your husband. Christ is the head of the household and the husband is the head of the wife, and that’s the way it is, period.” Obviously his wife, Adelia, is on board or she wouldn’t have stayed with him all this time.
