In his stand up routines Eddie Murphy famously joked about refusing to give half of his money to his future wife if they ever divorced. When he did divorce wife Nicole Murphy in real life he had a prenuptial agreement in place but he wasn’t so lucky when it came to shelling out child support for the daughter he had with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. Murphy doubted the paternity of little Angel Iris, who was born on his birthday, until a DNA test came back proving he was the father. After a contentious 15-month battle in court, a judge ordered the Dr. Doolittle star to pay Brown $51,000 a month in child support.
