Now that both Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert will no longer be cast members on TV One’s R&B Divas Atlanta (though Gilbert will stay on as a producer), folks behind the show have already found their replacements, and they are two very familiar faces.

Kameelah Williams and LaTavia Roberson will be the two newest cast members. You know Williams for her days singing lead in the girl group 702, and Roberson for her years in Destiny’s Child, way before it became a trio. Since the women left their respective groups, Williams dated singer Musiq Soulchild and had a son with him, while Roberson recently had a  baby girl with producer Don Vito, and was last seen trying to push a Destiny’s Child tell-all book and looking to get her own reality show. Close enough.

D’Angela Proctor, the SVP of Programming and Production for TV One issued this statement with the channel’s announcement of the show’s new additions:

“We are pleased to include LaTavia and Meelah in the explosive third season of R&B Divas Atlanta. As the series evolves, it’s rewarding to continue to work with some of R&B’s finest and provide our viewers with an intimate look at some of their favorite performers in today’s pop culture environment.”

The ladies will have to make nice with returning cast members, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, and Angie Stone. The show returns next year, and the new season will center on the women continuing to get their personal lives together while trying to ink new record deals. Should be diva-tastic!

Will you tune in? And are you excited about the additions of Williams and Roberson?
