Linda Womack and Sam Cooke
One of our faithful readers shared this tidbit and I definitely was surprised. If you’re a fan of the song “Baby I’m Scared of You” by the group Womack & Womack, you probably know about Linda Womack. She is the daughter of the late and great singer Sam Cooke (I know ya’ll know “A Change Is Gonna Come”!). She joined her husband, Cecil Womack, to create their popular group. Cecil is of course the brother of singer Bobby Womack.
