In just a few short years, rapper Nicki Minaj has become such a phenomenon. Her millions of fans, or Barbz as she calls them, helped turn her into a multimillionaire. Following her every move, advertisers know the “Roman’s Revenge” rapper can start a trend just by wearing something unusual. But there was one trend even her fans found strange. In the fall of 2011, Minaj wore a pink fried chicken necklace to an event in Las Vegas. The chicken wing looked freakishly real. Luckily, most of her Barbz decided to pass on the $80 necklace and save the chicken for eating and Nicki has since toned down her look.
