Early in the morning on an October day, Virginia Thomas–wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas–left a voicemail message on  Anita Hill’s work phone.  Thomas  basically demanded an apology from the woman who, 20 years ago,  almost cost her husband a Supreme Court Justice appointment with allegations of sexual harassment. Hill refused to apologize and now Thomas recently told a reporter that the call was “probably a mistake.” Probably?
