This hopefully hasn’t happened to you often, but there are some men who like to think that they can please a woman and show off by selecting her meal because “he know what tastes best on the menu.” While it’s nice to have recommendations and it’s also nice to know what type of food the two of you enjoy, having a man make your food choices is just odd. It also suggests he’s a bit controlling.
