The couple surprised many since sticking out their relationship and even renewing their vows each wedding anniversary. Quite the opposite of Jay-Z and Beyonce, Nick and Mariah are usually vocal in their love for each other.
When asked by PEOPLE, why they’ve renewed their vows so frequently, Nick replied: “I encourage everybody to do it. If you are happy and in love, celebrate it!”
Lesson Learned: Celebrate the fact that you are in love and making it work. While renewing your vows every year may be a bit much, celebrating your anniversaries with even more memorable events is just as important. Remembering the first time you kissed, went on a date, or did ‘other’ things calls for a celebration as well.
