Victoria Uwumarogie is the assistant editor for Madame Noire after starting with the site as a faithful reader and freelancer. She has been with this team of dynamic ladies for almost two years. Originally from the Chicago area, Victoria enjoys doing social media and writing for the site, reading, sleeping (she really, REALLY likes that), and getting to know New York a little better every day. Ami Angelowicz is a writer, teacher, lover of frosting, hater of cats, and a proud klutz. After graduating from NYU with a degree in theater, she burned through a couple of starter careers such as underpaid actress, psychology grad student, inner city high school teacher, and  theater producer before discovering that what she really wanted to do most was write. This revelation eventually led her to TheFrisky.com, where she is the Sex & Relationships editor. She lives in Queens, the most undervalued borough.
