Kelis’ “Get It On In Public” was not the first exhibitionist sex anthem. Many of us got our first introduction to the idea of public naughtiness via Janet’s “Anytime, Anyplace,” and who can forget 112’s “Anywhere?” The idea of getting it popping in broad daylight is great for a club anthem, but what about in real life?
We’re adults with reputations and responsibilities that must be taken into consideration. You do not want to risk your career, your image or even your freedom for a kinky thrill. However, you can (maybe…maybe) make it work for you and your lover out in the streets if you plan wisely. Here are a few tips for those of you who are interested giving it a try:
Pick a Safe Place: You can have a ‘public’ tryst without going into a situation in which getting caught is inevitable. Consider getting it on in a parked car, a notoriously empty mall bathroom, a park after hours…somewhere you can still get the thrill of being watchable without guaranteeing that you will get in some trouble.
Be Prepared: Just because it’s spontaneous doesn’t mean you can throw all caution to the wind. Yet another reason to keep a condom on you at any time that sex is a remote possibility.
Dress the Part: If you are trying to plan this in advance, make sure you have on clothes that are condusive to being pushed to the side: a short or flowy skirt, crotchless panties, etc. You need to be ready to dress and undress VERY quickly.
It Aint For Everybody: Your casual sex partner (you know, the guy/girl who is cool for you to call after the club, but you wouldn’t really consider calling just to talk to…ever?) probably isn’t the person you want to be mid-coitus with when you get an awkward tongue-lashing from a cop. Nor is the longterm lover who is extremely timid and/or frightened by PDA. Make sure that you and your desired outdoor sports partner are on the same page and both really want to do this.
