The family of Alisa Goods has confirmed that she was found dead after being missing for nearly two weeks in Las Vegas.
Alisa’s daughter Kristen Goods wrote the following on the family’s GoFundMe page:
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved mother, Alisa Goods, has been found and has passed away.
For our family, this is a devastating loss. After the uncertainty and anguish of not knowing where she was, we are now faced with the painful reality of saying goodbye and making arrangements to honor her life and memory.
According to News 3 Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department “received a call regarding a deceased woman in a drainage ditch near Wayne Newton Boulevard and the Terminal 1 parking garage at Harry Reid International Airport on Thursday.”
Police then reviewed airport video surveillance from Aug. 8, which reportedly showed “Goods falling down an embankment, getting back up, and then collapsing. There was allegedly no further movement observed after that. Police add that her location could not be seen from the street.”
Goods had been staying with Roger John, a friend of about 20 years whom she had visited in Las Vegas several times before, according to her family.
John previously toldKLAS-TVthat Goods left his apartment around 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 8 to take a bus to a nearby CVS to shop.
“Last I saw her, she was going down the stairs. And I said, ‘OK, see you later,’ And that’s the last time I saw her,” John told the station.
According to Goods’ family, she was later seen at a store near Paradise and Flamingo roads, where she purchased supplements and water. Kristen said she did not personally view the CVS surveillance footage but spoke with the store manager about her mother’s visit.

Kristen also expressed frustration over the lack of additional clues from surveillance footage throughout the area.
“I’m extremely frustrated because I would think that this town would have so much more surveillance because it’s such a bustling area,” Kristen said. “I would think that there was a way for facial recognition to be able to locate someone.”
The family believes Goods may not have been able to travel very far on foot because she recently underwent several leg surgeries that have made walking for extended periods difficult.
Police searched within a 20-mile radius of the location where Goods was last seen, according to FOX5. Her relatives have also distributed flyers throughout the area in hopes that someone will recognize her.
This is a sad ending to an awful story. Our thoughts are with the Goods family as they navigate this difficult time.
