4. Gym vibe: Is it your style?

A gym’s atmosphere is a huge factor in how often you’ll go. Some people love the hustle and bustle of a large, busy gym with lots of energy and social interaction. There are also facilities where gym staff are on hand to assist you if you need guidance using equipment around the place. On the other hand, some people might prefer a quieter, more focused environment. Pay attention to the vibe of the gym during your visit: Is it full of energy, or does it feel more laid back? Are the members friendly, or does it feel like everyone is in their own zone? Assess how it impacts your workout as well.
