TikTok users have been raving about this quick and easy banana bread recipe shared by the @FoodDolls on July 28, that you can make in your air fryer in under 20 minutes using simple ingredients. According to the popular video, you’ll need two cups of milk, one cup of quick oats, three ripe bananas, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, one egg, one tablespoon of baking soda, one tablespoon of vanilla extract, and a handful or two of chocolate chips. For extra flavor, a dash of cinnamon is also recommended.

Begin by mashing the bananas and mixing all the ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, in the air fryer basket. Once well combined, sprinkle the chocolate chips on top and return the basket to the air fryer. Cook at 350°F for approximately 18 minutes. The result is a warm, soft banana bread that’s ideal for a beautiful fall day.

If your air fryer has a perforated lining, it’s crucial to use parchment paper to prevent ingredients from falling through. According to Kana Lifestyle, parchment paper can withstand temperatures up to 428°F (220°C), making it suitable for use in air fryers. For optimal results, place the parchment paper in the air fryer basket simultaneously with your ingredients. Keep in mind that air fryers cook more efficiently than conventional ovens, so you should lower the temperature by about 25°F compared to oven settings. Additionally, baking times may be shorter, and depending on the recipe, you might not always need to use a pan.
