While Nicole Murphy is out here doing a whole press tour in an attempt to explain the kisses she shared with director Antoine Fuqua, he has said nothing. And while more celebrities should wait for their personal drama to cycle out of the headlines, I have to admit that it’s a bit frustrating to watch Nicole take all the heat for this when Antoine was the married party in this scandalous situation.
Naturally, we were primarily concerned for Lela Rochon. In the weeks after the pictures of Murphy and Fuqua kissing leaked, she deleted her Instagram. Even when she came back, several of the comment sections have been disabled. This past August, Rochon was seen on the red carpet for the premiere of OWN’s “David Makes Man,” wearing a big smile and her wedding ring.
But Fuqua was not with her.
Recently though, Rochon posted a picture of herself, her daughter Asia Fuqua and Antoine together to celebrate their daughter’s starring role of Cinderella in the play Into The Woods.
At the end of the day, while we’d love to know what they discussed and ultimately decided, we’re not entitled to a statement from Fuqua and especially not Rochon in regards to what these two are going to do about their marriage.
We just know we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
While this the first time Fuqua and Rochon have been seen out together, when Lela came back to Instagram after that hiatus, she came back to show y’all that she was still out here living her life. Check out the pictorial proof on the following pages.
