Basketball player Brandon Jennings has a big problem with his ex, model and actress, Lashontae Heckard, attempting to get cast on Basketball Wives.

“Why is my 41yr old baby mama trying get on basketball wives! Ur not even a basketball wive” he wrote on Snapchat this week.

“That’s not a real Job!” the 29-year-old added. “Listen I’m old school. But how y’all ni–as let women y’all date go on tv and talk bout they ex and baby daddies! That is so weird to me!”

Heckard has moved on from Jennings, with whom she shares a son, and gone on to date NFL player Stefon Diggs. They’ve reportedly been dating since late last year. Still, that didn’t stop Jennings from saying she needed to find another man to use for opportunities.

“I never cared about what any woman does!” he wrote. “If I’m not bothering you or asking you for anything! You don’t exist to me!”

“That means don’t ask me for sh-t!” he added. “Go find another ni–a to help u!”

Jennings and Heckard were together for a few years, and their relationship was a controversial one due to the fact that he was at first in a relationship with Heckard’s former friend/colleague, Teyana Taylor. The singer said she and Jennings were actually engaged at one point.

“Here’s the issue, you’re 36 years old,” Taylor said on The Breakfast Club in 2014. “You’re a grown woman. I’m 23. How old are we here? As a woman, the moment you found out that me and Brandon were engaged—and peep game, when stuff hit the blogs I called her. I found out via the blogs. And when I called her, she got defensive. When you’re friends with somebody, you’re more hurt and disappointed than angry.”

Heckard stated soon after that interview that she and Taylor weren’t actual friends.

“2 club encounters, 2 industry birthday parties, 1 yacht party, 2 miscellaneous phone calls, 2 club photos, a follow on social media and a pair of kicks you sent my best friend to give me to post on Instagram to boost sales in 5 years does not constitute a friendship,” she wrote on Instagram. “Period.”

Jennings waited a few years to speak out. He finally responded to Taylor’s recounting of how their relationship ended by saying, in 2016 (after she talked briefly about the situation on The Wendy Williams Show) by saying, “I still don’t understand how you can steal someone’s man?”

He maintained, even last year when he and Heckard were no more (they split in 2015 and were on and off for a while after the fact), that he was never stolen from anybody.

“Like I said NOBODY got played!!!! Trust me,” he wrote online. “Social media has fu–ed everyone’s head up from taking Ls and that make sure u upgrade sh-t it’s all dumb. People who like to get played with, gets played!”
