Tommie Lee of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta just dodged doing 54 years in prison. In January Lee was indicted on seven charges related to allegations that she pushed her daughter’s head into a locker and dragging her by her hair while in school. This week the 34-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of cruelty to children in the first degree, one count of disrupting public school, family violence and three counts of simple battery. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison but she was given an option to still remain a free woman.

People reports that she was supposed to serve two years of her 10-year sentence and serve the rest on probation. However, the two years in prison has been waived on the condition that she completes a residential recovery program and attends treatment with a psychiatrist or psychologist for one year.

Tommie still has to abide by many different rules while under probation. Besides having to pay a $1,000 fine, she has an 11:00 p.m curfew, has to submit drug and alcohol tests, can’t attend events if there will be drugs and alcohol present and can’t travel outside of Georgia without written consent. She also cannot have any violent incidents with her children, obviously.

TMZ reports that Lee is already in the recovery program.
