The first trailer for Season 8 of Basketball Wives is here, and while brief, it already packs quite a bit of drama in its 30 seconds.

As was shared with you in the official roster list, the ladies returning include Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, CeCe Gutierrez, OG, Kristen Scott and, surprisingly, Jennifer Williams. In the trailer, there is still some fallout from last year’s issues, but overall, quite a bit of new drama.

Shaunie is in tears over son Shareef requiring open-heart surgery after it was discovered that he had a condition that would keep him from playing basketball as soon as he had hoped at UCLA.

CeCe is showing off her engagement ring after Byron Scott popped the question. However, she reveals that she is still caught up in some serious family drama. Byron is at odds with daughter-in-law and cast member Kristen (we’ll have to wait and see if it has to do with the hard time Kristen gave CeCe in Season 7). She tells the ladies that “Byron isn’t feeling Kristen right now,” and “he doesn’t want her at our wedding.”

Kristen is riled up enough in another scene that she looks as though she’s trying to get her hands on, not CeCe, but OG. She is held back, in tears, by Malaysia and Shaunie.

We get a brief glimpse at Tami, who lets folks know with that finger of hers that what’s “right is right and what’s wrong is wrong.”

Jackie shares that she “may not ever be friends again” with a certain someone, and while our bet is on Malaysia, you never know.

And Evelyn, good ol’ Evelyn, attempts to leap over some tables and things to get her hands on someone she clearly has a big problem with, and it looks like it’s Jennifer Williams. (The hair is always a dead giveaway.)

You can see how the story unfolds when Basketball Wives returns for its eighth season on Wednesday, June 19 at 8/7c on VH1. In the meantime, check out the trailer, and be prepared for more shenanigans because the women are still filming:
