It isn’t summer until Basketball Wives is on, and the VH1 hit is set to return to the small screen on June 19 at 8/7c. After an explosive Season 7, fans are likely looking forward to seeing how, if at all, Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada are able to be in each other’s company. There is also a lot of anticipation surrounding Jennifer Williams’ return to the show after tables were thrown her way in Amsterdam following the fallout from some unseemly comments we still don’t know officially if she made about Evelyn’s daughter, Shanice.
Aside from the throwback faces though, there are some new bloods joining the ladies in Los Angeles, as well as some returning newer faces from last season. Hit the flip to see who is making their debut, returning for round two, and the original OGs you will see in Season 8 of Basketball Wives.

Feby Torres
A new face, Torres, according to reports, has two children with Los Angeles Lakers star Lance Stephenson. She was spotted hanging with the ladies at Jennifer Williams’ Classy Girl Wardrobe Sip & Shop event earlier this month.

Dominique Lenard
Lenard will be appearing on the series here and there as a friend to cast member Jennifer Williams, which is good because going into the new season, Jenn is going to need all the friends she can get. She is an actual basketball wife, married to retired NBA player Voshon Kelan.

CeCe Gutierrez
CeCe, who is now engaged to marry longtime partner Byron Scott, will be back according to VH1, as she’s set to be an official basketball wife very soon. We’re looking forward to seeing how she will connect with the group following last season’s drama with Evelyn Lozada and Kristen Scott.

Ogum ’OG’ Chijindu
The girl could hold her own, so you know OG will be back. She’s still friendly with Jackie Christie and CeCe, as well as Tami Roman, but we’ll have to wait and see how she’s getting along with Malaysia and Kristen this time around. We’re also interested, we guess, in whether or not her longtime boyfriend, Kwame, will finally put a ring on it.

Kristen Scott
Kristen will return to the series despite not being a fan favorite. However, the wife of Thomas Scott, son of Byron Scott, did create and take part in quite a bit of drama last season, including with CeCe and OG, which is always a draw for producers.

Jennifer Williams
After leaving Season 7 as the pariah and not even showing up for the reunion, it seemed Jenn was done and done with the series. However, she decided to return and according to VH1, “she is ready to rekindle her friendships and try to make amends.”

Malaysia Pargo
According to VH1, Malaysia will be back to protect not only her family but also her reputation: “Malaysia is struggling to rid her family of drama and hears an unsettling rumor about her personal life.”

Jackie Christie
While Jackie’s main storyline revolves around her son graduating and preparing to go to college, we also know, unfortunately, that she is going to end up in a physical altercation at some point due to drama coming up with Malaysia and her family.

Tami Roman
Looking to move forward from last season’s drama with Evelyn, Tami’s storyline this season will be focused on her career. According to VH1, there will be “a shift in her relationships with her friends and family.”

Evelyn Lozada
Hoping for a less dramatic storyline this season (probably because her interactions with Tami will be few and far between this season), Evelyn’s storyline will be about her parenting and looking out for her kids.

Shaunie O’Neal
Speaking of parenting, boss lady Shaunie’s major storyline this season will focus on being more positive and grateful after her son Shareef’s surgery: “Shaunie, shaken by her son’s recent heart surgery, is ready to spread positivity and love to those around her–even her ex!”
