After more than 10 years together, Diddy and Cassie confirmed last fall that they had called it quits. And while Diddy had reportedly been seen dating a young model named Jocelyn Chew for a short time soon after, Cassie and new boyfriend Alex Fine are already saying “I love you” and seem quite serious — and happy.
So what’s a guy like Diddy to do when your ex has moved on? Party, that’s what. The 49-year-old traveled to Miami over the weekend to celebrate the legacy of the Notorious B.I.G., performing at a popular spot called E11even, according to reports. When he wasn’t doing that, he was hanging out with famous friend Nas, and enjoying Miami sights with son Quincy Brown. Oh yeah, he was also spotted listening to some reggae music with 22-year-old Lori Harvey.
Yes, Lori Harvey, stepdaughter of Steve Harvey, who was recently lauded for dating a few famous men at once, keeping her options open. Her interaction with Diddy is interesting though, because one of the men she was linked to in the past was reportedly Justin Combs, Diddy’s 25-year-old son. But hey, maybe they just happened to be in the same space at the same time and decided to enjoy the nightlife together. They weren’t necessarily hugged up or being romantic in any way that we could see. But if their encounter is more than friendly, more power to the both of them:
While many women have applauded Lori for living her best life as she sees fit, there have been some detractors, of course. When someone on social media tried to call the beauty a “hoe” for her dating choices, her mother, Marjorie, let the person know, “this is my daughter…not your mother.”
As for Diddy, he seems quite unbothered by any commentary on what he has going on and with whom. He shared an image of himself lying out on a lounge chair, smoking in the Miami Beach sun with the caption, “Sometimes you need to take some time for yourself.”
