More details have emerged in the alleged altercation that occurred between rapper Bow Wow and estranged girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie. The two have had intense arguments in the past as documented on the last season of Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta. The pair repeatedly argued on the show over issues like infidelity, insecurity and trust.
Leslie shares that last weekend’s clash began after the “Ain’t Thinkin Bout You” rapper flew into a jealous rage after witnessing Leslie speak to another man at a party. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the two returned to their apartment where Leslie alleges Bow Wow dragged her by her hair throughout the apartment while telling her to “get the hell out.” Leslie also claims three of her ribs were broken during the dispute. Bow Wow claims that during the encounter Leslie threw a lamp at his face after he packed Leslie’s bags and placed them by the door. Both parties were arrested for battery and scratches can clearly be seen all over Bow Wow’s face in his mugshot. Bow Wow, who is father to a 7-year-old daughter, was released later that night on $8000 bond.
TMZ has now unveiled footage of the couple arguing in an elevator before the encounter. In the footage, Bow Wow can be seen yelling in Leslie’s face and snatching something from her hand. Leslie appears to ignore the 31-year-old as he paces around the elevator that is occupied by two other men, and one of the men attempts to intervene when Bow Wow grabs Leslie’s wrist. TMZ also has posted a 911 call made by Leslie that night in which she reveals the authorities had been called previously, but she was held in the room by her “boyfriend” and his friends who had taken her phone when they arrived.
Leslie took to Instagram earlier this week responding to criticism on social media as to her role in the altercation and her motives in the relationship in general. In an Instagram story she shares that the it’s especially troubling that women and mothers of daughters are coming to Bow Wow’s defense:
“It’s sick that most of the hate is coming from women who have daughters.”
“When the truth comes all the way out, I want these ‘celebrities’ & females who backing this shenanigans to keep the same energy.”
