Blac Chyna might need to pay better attention to her businesses or hire a more reliable accountant. The former stripper has had her cosmetics company, Lashed, suspended by the State of California. Lashed sells, eyelashes, lipsticks, bronzer, and skincare products.

According to The Blast, the company was suspended on November 1st, 2018 by the Franchise Tax Board. While their are multiple reasons for suspension, a spokesperson for the tax board confirmed with The Blast that Blac Chyna’s business is suspended for “failure to file a tax return.”

Though her website is currently up, running, and taking orders, according to the Franchise Tax Board, a company loses their right to conduct business under the suspension. In addition to this, they can’t sue or defend themselves in court, legally close the business, and more. Companies are also subject to a $2,000.00 penalty (in addition to paying any owed taxes). This all occurs after more than two months worth of notices and warnings.

The Lashed LLC was launched in 2014 and products were being sold online and the (now closed) brick and mortar store located in Encino, California. The online store has been privy to a bevy of complaints by customers regarding delayed shipping and customer service complaints.

Until this suspension is cleared up anyone in the state of California is currently free to take over the Lashed name. Essentially, her entire cosmetics brand name is currently up for grabs. Yikes!

According to some research by The Blast, they spoke to a neighboring shop owner that stated even though there was a grand re-opening party for Lashed in September, they haven’t seen the business open for months. Maybe Blac Chyna is more focused on her international ventures?

What do you think? Was this a business oversight or do you think Blac Chyna is walking away from her original beauty brand? Sound off in the comments!
