For quite some time, we’ve seen supermodel Naomi Campbell showcase her signature look — sleek and long black extensions with a part down the middle. She might switch it up, maybe wear a thick bang with that style, but weave down the back is what she is most often seen rocking. Until now.

The 48-year-old stunner decided to switch it up on us by baring her natural hair — something that hasn’t really been seen. She posted a picture on Instagram of herself wearing straight-back cornrows. She had on little makeup (with the exception of some lashes), and the caption read, “Bare it all.”

Campbell’s hair has been a big topic of conversation ever since paparazzi captured her on vacay with her edges not present and bald patches near the front of her hairline.

In 2017, she told the UK’s ES Magazine that her attachment to extensions cost her a lot of hair. But she’s worked to take better care of it, according to the icon.

“I do take more care of my hair now, because I lost all of it with extensions,” she said. “I am more careful and I do different things.”

The patches of hair missing reportedly grew back, to which she told the publication, “Thank God,” but past experiences obviously haven’t completely stopped her from embracing weaves and wigs.

“Everybody in the world wears wigs,” she said. “It doesn’t matter anymore. I do what I want, or whatever the job calls for.”

Again, she is known for a certain look these days, but as a model who has strutted her stuff since the ’80s, she has had no choice but to switch it up quite a few times. Hit the flip to see the many hairstyles of Naomi Campbell, who clearly looks fabulous in any style.
