He Wants You To Be Happy Regardless Of Your Decision
It takes a lot of maturity to want happiness for someone you love even if that happiness doesn’t include you, so if your guy has expressed this sentiment to you, you know he truly cares about you.
Selfish men have the mindset that if you are no longer with them then they wish you all bad things in the future. A man who really loves you not only recognizes that what he did caused things to end, but he is content in knowing that someone else can give you the happiness he couldn’t.
