We’ll never knock the merits of natural beauty but sometimes a girl just wants to play dress up! Unfortunately for Black girls that’s not as easy as it should be. Finding the perfect foundation to properly highlight our fierce can be extremely difficult, especially when it comes to those of us who have more melanin than most. Despite advances in technology and a socio-economic climate that have led it to become more profitable than it has ever been some organizations in the beauty industry still act like providing an array of shades is an impossible task. Luckily others have seized the opportunity to provide quality formulas for all. We spoke to 10 beautiful Black women to find out their favorite foundations.
