After an appearance on MTV’s Nick Cannon Presents Wild N’ Out, Azealia Banks bashed the show for colorism jokes towards her that caused her to cry while on set.
During their 85 South Show Live comedy show, Wild N’ Out stars DC Young Fly, Chico Bean and Karlous Miller set the record straight about what really happened.
DC says that he was joking on Banks as he normally does with any guest star, and that it was a joke about Cardi B that took Banks over the edge. During a different version of the game “So Fly” titled “So Petty,” fellow comedian Chico Bean claims that DC said “Nick Cannon so petty he really wanted Cardi B but he bought Azealia Banks lil’ ugly a– instead.” Banks couldn’t take the joke and kept badmouthing DC and wouldn’t stop. DC claims he tried to keep his cool but since Banks kept going and said three or four insults about him, he threw another joke at her about her braces, which caused her to start crying. DC tried to apologize to the “212” rapper but then she threatened to spit in his face.
Their version of what happened didn’t sit well with Banks, who left a fiery comment on Baller Alert’s Instagram page.
“The reason why I cried is because I wanted to call all of you dirty Atlanta dL HPV infested maggots stuck below the Mason Dixon Line with no access to health care. I was going to call you all specifically [the] type of black men black women hate,” she wrote.
