Could our clothes be killing us?
If it’s one of those things that you can never make work without another thing—like a totally see-through top that you must wear a camisole under, but the camisole sort of ruins the aesthetic—let it go. Personally, I’m at an age where I want very plug-and-play clothes that don’t require some additional item, just to be functional. I need to buy clothes that help me love my body.
If the words, “How am I supposed to wear this?” come out of my mouth, I just don’t buy it. And that’s the case for a lot of sheer, backless tops. They won’t support a bra of any kind, and yet, they show my nipples as bright as day.
Have you ever listened to a dryer and heard a repetitive clanking sound? That’s probably a loose zipper. If you put something in the dryer that has a zipper, like a hoodie, be sure to zip it up and turn it inside out. You don’t want the zipper repeatedly hitting the walls of the dryer—that’s how it can break off.
