An autopsy revealed that Cheryl Edwards was 15 years old and 10 weeks pregnant when her body was found in the Mississippi River over 50 years ago.
The Jane Doe in the case has the legal right to sue his mother it appears.
Doe filed her lawsuit in a federal court June 1 against the singer, born Tremaine Neverson.
