Labor Day was made for the beach, barbecues and binge-watching shows. But if you ask me what I’m going to do today, my schedule is going to include a workout at the gym. I’ve got ab goals to reach, and my inspiration these days is Teyana Taylor.
The mom and singer attended the VMAs last week with her six-pack on full display, and it was a reminder to me to lay off the junk food and get back to work. Granted, I’m realistic about my own goals. (I’m also very aware of the ways genetics and body makeup can impact what your core ends up looking like. And for Taylor, it’s not intense exercise but consistent dancing that keeps her fit: “Dancing is my workout. I just dance. I almost feel like dance is so underrated in the fitness world.”) Still, it never hurts to have some healthy fitspo.
