Depending on who you ask, being a well-endowed woman in the chest area can be a blessing — or a curse. Large breasts can look great, but plenty of women have found themselves in pain when their ample chests start to take a toll on their back, neck, and even keep them from exercising comfortably. Back pain is one of the reasons Waka Flocka’s wife, Tammy Rivera Malphurs, has decided she’s going to get a breast reduction.
The reality star, who is a small woman by the way, shared the reduction surgery news on Instagram, claiming that her chest has grown greatly in size in just this year alone. But she’s not alone in her desire to be free of the burden of large, heavy breasts. Plenty of women in Hollywood have opted for a major change when things were just too uncomfortable to bear. Yes, sometimes less is more, and in these cases, it was necessary.
Queen Latifah
The actress, musician and producer decided to have a breast reduction procedure done in 2003 after dealing with back problems. However, about a year later, she said that she felt like she may have taken too much out.
“I miss ’em. I definitely miss ’em ’cause it’s part of your body so you’re used to it all your life,” she said. “I kinda like being able to walk around, wear different shirts and not feel back pain – but I miss about 20 per cent more!”
Patricia Heaton
The actress had a breast reduction after feeling as though her large breast lost their perkiness after having children. As she told PEOPLE, “My breasts were hanging down to here from breastfeeding those babies, and my nipples were like platters. I wanted to fit into the gowns that I finally got to wear.”
Kim Fields
The former Living Single star reportedly got a breast reduction when she was 16. This after she spent her later years on The Facts of Life trying to wear big clothes to cover up her chest.
Robin Quivers
The Howard Stern Show favorite had breast reduction surgery in 1990, but she said a few years ago that her breasts grew back to a G.
Star Jones
Jones reportedly had breast reduction surgery, as well as a breast lift after dropping a lot of weight. In a scary scene, Jones’s hemoglobin levels dropped big time during her breast lift surgery and she had to stay in the hospital for four days afterward.
Drew Barrymore
Barrymore had this to say about reducing her chest during the early ’90 after her breasts grew quickly as a teen: “I really love my body and the way it is right now. There’s something very awkward about women and their breasts because men look at them so much. When they’re huge, you become very self-conscious. Your back hurts. You find that whatever you wear, you look heavy in. It’s uncomfortable.”
Ariel Winter
The Modern Family star had surgery to go from a 32 F to a 34 D. The Internet’s fascination with her chest at 17 became a bit too much for the actress.
“It made me feel really uncomfortable, because as women in the industry, we are totally oversexualized and treated like objects,” Winter told PEOPLE. “Every article that has to do with me on a red carpet had to do with ‘Ariel Winter’s Crazy Cleavage!’ or ‘Ariel Winter Shows Huge Boobs at an Event!’ That’s all people would recognize me by – not, ‘Oh, she does great work on Modern Family.'”

Soleil Moon Frye
The Punky Brewster star tried to keep things covered. However, she had to have breast reduction surgery at 15 after the small star’s chest jumped up to a 38DDD while in the spotlight.
Roseanne Barr
Barr had breast reduction surgery in 1991. Her character on Roseanne also had breast reduction surgery in the classic episode, “Less is More.”
