Iyanla Vanzant opened her latest season of Fix My Life with a four-episode series on angry Black women. And once a group of Black men who refuse to date Black women were introduced into the mix, it quickly became apparent there are several brothas out there dealing with anger and hurt of their own that has yet to be addressed. Thankfully, the OWN host is turning her attention to these fellas now in her next series, “Fix a Black Man’s Heart.”

In the three-part episode, Iyanla invites six men into her House of Healing again to help “fix their broken spirits and broken hearts.” The men include singer Kevin McCall; Boyz II Men’s Michael McCary; the father of Lira Galore, Rick Ross’s ex-girlfriend who appeared in the angry Black woman series; and Michael, the 46-year-old musician who explained in the angry Black woman series that he doesn’t date sistas because they used to tease him for how he spoke and dressed.

In the preview clip, McCary shares that he hasn’t seen his children in seven years, and on Oprah’s website, the singer said of his time as an entertainer: “If I had to sum up what I got from my brothers in Boyz II Men, I would have to say betrayal, a broken bond. I mean, at this point, we don’t even talk.”

McCall is also seen having a breakdown on the kitchen floor of the House of Healing, dealing with the reality that violence has always been a part of his life. The other men in the house include 29-year-old Tyrone, a habitual cheater, who was also a part of the angry Black woman series; and Clarence, 38, who has been in and out of jail since 17.

Check out the preview of episode 1 which airs October 29 at 9 pm on OWN.
